Appreciation has dissapeared.

Alfie makes me smile.

The world pauses for us, as we share a stolen coffee break in the canteen. 15 minutes snatched from his essay writing. 15 minutes deducted from my reading session. A necessary theft, as time with Alfie makes me smile.

While telling him what I learned at uni that day, I burst into praise for both my lecturer's. They both taught me something, through their actions showed me something. One showed me how to write in HTML, the other taught me how experience can be the best social tool, as she used her life lessons as anecdotes for our naive questions.

Nigel's class was, (as the youths say in the streets) 'heavy- man!’ Which basically means it had positive weight, substance..."I am enthused by the lesson, brethren". While those who already had knowledge of this magical coded language looked down at my delightful face as I made the word 'Johnny' red. I felt like I was at school again, all the positive memories of learning something practical that I could use, that could give me more choices made me smile.

Alfie mentioned something that I had been thinking about for a while. The notion of being thankful and also appreciating others and what they impart in you is slowly disappearing. This idea of loss of appreciation was stirring some thoughts within me about the construction of certain web pages that we use. Most of the networking or exchange sites whether its exchanging ideas, goods or just opinions encourage you to show appreciation. I will try to develop this thought appropriately, as it could also help in our group project.

Once my Mac stops playing up, I will show you what Nigel taught me. I will.

Lovely Bell! May I suggest that your computer is not playing up but instead you are encountering some Mac/Wiki compatibility issues?

I wasn't able to do much of the editing on my Mac as this would require all work be done in HTML whereas PC users are provided functions such as 'Bold' and 'Italic' as in word.

Just a thought...

P.s. When are you going to write about your pseudonym? It's a lovely name, I wonder from where inspiration was drawn?
